Keep in mind no one here can conclusively answer this question because those games aren't out yet.

Skyrim should be no problem at all for crossfire 6970's. You'll easily be able to max it at 1080p

Battlefield 3 is stil up in the air somewhat but i'd say if anything's likely to max it out it'll be your rig.

Seriously man that things a monster.

Rumours have been floating around that SLI 580's will be required to max out BF3. No idea where the truth/fact behind this is, (apparently DICE posted on Twitter) but if its going to take SLI 580's to see the ultra enthusiast settings of this game, I'm not sure if x2 6970's will cut it.

(Personally i think they will with EASE, but others are saying "NO WAY").

BETA sys-requirements recommend 6950/GTX560 (these details can be found on BF3 website).

Yeah SSD is the new "must have" for new builds :) The performance gains seem well worthwhile! Especially for speeding up windows boot times.

60GB is the minimum size SSD id recommend, with 120GB being ideal, and well even higher if your on a monster budget...

Looking at his build... I sure hope he's on a monster budget or he's gonna have a big suprise when the receipt comes home ^_^. Anyway, I highly suggest the crucial M4 for the SSD, 128 gb, this is the best bang for the buck in all the SSD available on the market. It uses the new marvel controller instead of the more popular sandforce and shows a failiure rate very very low compared to the sandforce.

TBH i dont think SSD are worth it, but i dont have one so i cant really say. Most people say their worth it because windows boots up fast...but almost everyone i know rarely turns off their computer. They might turn it off once every 2 weeks but thats it. And it doesnt really increase game performances, you will load the map a few seconds faster. If you do video editing and photo editing from what ive heard the programs will open up 5 seconds faster, which isnt that much faster.

But hey, i dont have one so dont take what i say seriously.
