ATI Radeon 5670

Hey guyz il be buying a ATI Radeon 5670 512MB DDR5 for about 70$. My question is, is the performance difference between the 512MB and 1G Card worth the extra 15$ to upgrade from 512MB - 1G? or should i save my money.

Im not willing to upgrade my 300 Wats CPU to purchase a stronger card as of now, im just looking for a good upgrade from an Integrated Graphics Chip

  1. Without knowing what resolution your monitor is, nobody can answer that question.

It won't make a lot of difference. Not worth the extra money imo because for a few more dollars you could get a 5770/6770 1GB.

Yes it will help having more memory, but for $15? I don't know, that would be $85 right?

You can get a Asus 5770 1gb at newegg for $89 after rebate. Much better card.

With a 300 Wats power supply?, and the rebates take 2 long to get here :/
  5. I didn't say buy a 5770.

    What I said is:

"Not worth the extra money because for a few more dollars you COULD get a 5770/6770 1GB".

So no I wouldn't pay the extra $15 for 1GB of memory on a card in that price range.
