Okay so posted in earlier to discuss why one my front panel USB 3.0 was not working properly. I look closer at the USB 3.0 connector on the motherboard and see that a single pin in bent waaay out of shape, so bad that it is completely curved down. I try to fix the pin and get it almost straightened out and then it just snaps (was using led pencil technique).

It was my fault for overlooking the bent pin. simple mistake. So now I'm wondering..Is it safe to use motherboard still? I don't think I'll be using this broken usb 3.0 port anymore. This really bites for my first build..but hay lesson learned.

Off topic I found two threads with the same problem. One was ow the pins in the socket are so weak.
