Dual Monitor

I have a dual LCD monitor setup and for whatever reason the second monitor has starting acting strange.

When the screens are dimmed after the set amount of time the older of the 2 will not return.

In fact when it has reached this state the LED light which should be a bright orange is barely visible in a lit room. I can actually bring the monitor back up by unplugging the power to the monitor and plugging it back in. After doing this the monitor will function normally till the next time the system is turned off/puts the monitors to sleep.

I am not seeing another other signs of video card failure.

It sounds like the monitor may be dying, but besides that, I can't think of anything.
