Looking to buy an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog

Forum Graphics & Displays : Graphics Cards Looking to buy an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog

Hey all,

I've been looking into upgrading my slightly out of date desktop. I originally bought it with an SLI motherboard to allow myself to upgrade later on down the road, but I didn't realize the 8800's would be off the market so quickly.

I'm just looking for an easy $50-$70 solution to upgrade my computer.

The current card I have now is an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog 512mb edition, there haven't really been any on ebay, especially ones that weren't overclocked a lot, and I was wondering if anyone here knew where I could still get one.

Additionally, if anyone can recommend a better card for the sub-$100 range that would also be much appreciated.

Thanks!

You can use any 8800GT, it does not have to be the same make and model.

Really? It will SLI just fine? I thought for that they needed to be the same model/memory/clock

No, it just needs to be another 8800GT.
