Higher fsb ram with lower fsb cpu - good or bad?

Hello,
i have intel dual core E5300 i.e 800mhz fsb cpu and recently bought 2GB DDR3 ram 1333FSB. and in bios ram speed shows 400mhz... so is it okay or i have to buy 800FSB ram to match my CPU FSB??

Faster RAM can always slow down to slower speeds, you're just paying a premium for performance you're not getting is all.

Maybe you can set a higher Memory Clock or DRAM Frequency in BIOS. It depends on the motherboard/chipset. Which motherboard do you have? And what is the model number of the memory modules?
