DDR3 1600 showing as DDR1333 in BIOS?

I bought both this motherboard and this memory (see below), and the packaging on the memory claimed to be SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) but the BIOS is saying that its DDR-1333. Is this something that needs to be set in BIOS? If so, there are a lot of settings including voltages, and such that I don't want to mess with unless I really know what I'm doing. Which I don't.

thanks in advance.

You have to manually set the RAM speeds in the BIOS. So say you have a 1600mhz kit, go to the advanced panel or whatever and find ram frequency in the OC section and set it to 1600mhz. You may even see options for higher than 1600. my ram kit defaults at 1333. the rated speed is 1600mhz and i oc it to 1866. its very anoying to have to do this but its just a industry thing

ok, thanks. It can't be more difficult than pulling that zalman cpu fan off to get to the memory underneath. :-)

Wait what? U don't have the take ur RAM out at any time to change the frequencies in the BIOS

I know. I was just making a dumb joke about the difficulty in what should be a fairly simple process (taking the memory out). Thanks for the help. If I can't figure how to change the BIOS setting, I'll post back. I really appreciate the help!
