Ive had this up and running for about 7 months, and now it just won't power up. I've been getting random freezing leading up to this issue (if that helps).

-P8z68-VPro Gen3 mobo
-intel i2600-k (non-OC)
-16gb 1600MHz Corsair vengeance 9-9-9-24
-Evga GTX 580 3gb
-Silvertone ST-1000-P (1000w) PSU
-Also 1 HDD, 1 SSD, 1 video capture card, 2 cathode lights, 4 large led fans + CPU fan

I try to power on from the case, and no response. Try the mobo power button, no response. Unplug and then plug back in...power and reset buttons on the mobo light up (red/green)..after 3 seconds the green reset button shuts off (red power stays lit). When I press the power button (on case or mobo), the reset button lights up again but nothing else happens. Fans don't turn on ect.

I've tried to clear CMOS, checked the memory, and made sure nothing else was touching the mobo. Any help :/

The first thing you want to do in situations like this is break the system down to just the bare essentials needed to get the unit to POST. If that still doesn't do it, then I would say you either have a bad PSU or bad motherboard.
