Network Not Found?

Hello,
when i unplug my network cable, then plug it back in my network is not found? I have to physically shutdown and power back on, dell precision M4400 laptop running WinXP SP3 with weekly updates.

Try right-clicking on the network icon (bottom right corner) and clicking repair. that might work.
