Approximate Purchase Date: (possibly this month)

Budget Range: (depends on which build will give me the best bang for my buck) Before / After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (gaming, movies, surfing internet)

Parts Not Required: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers) **Include Power Supply Make & Model If Re-using**

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (www.pbtech.co.nz or any other website from New Zealand and possibly Australia if they ship here)

Country of Origin: (New Zealand)

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (I have not followed the whole computer parts scene for a long time so consider me unknowledgeable)

Overclocking: Yes (I would like to overclock my system to get the best bang for buck)

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (only if it gives me the best value, which I doubt)

Monitor Resolution: (It depends at the moment but possibly 1080p, why does this matter though?)

Additional Comments: (I live in New Zealand and would like to get the absolute best value possible, I am very frugal at the moment and I know how fast systems devalue, I would like a build that has tons of performance and no bottlenecking at all, and some may know which components compliment each other more than others. Also I don't expect nor want any one doing all the work for me so if you have a list of good resources which is a must read please link me.)

This is a performance build using parts that I personally have experience with.

Hey thanks for the reply, It sounds nice but not what I had in mind. Im looking for the best performance for value possible.

Well, then you need to provide a price you are willing to pay for the system. You said you wanted a top performer at a value price, and that's what I put together for you. If you have a different idea of what a value price is, then you need to say so.

What I am looking for is a build that gives the best performance for its price. I believe that with a cheaper build than the one you provided I could get close to its performance but for less of the cost. This is the build I would be looking for.

You need a amd CPU then they overclock very well. Also a 212 Evo for overclocking. Depends on the place but some 7950s are easily under 300 usd.
