So when I play games I can run it for a whole day sometimes without having problems, but then sometimes its really few hours or half a day. Its really random and during games it will crash and turn orange pixelated lines vertically or orange pixelated lines vertically. Im trying to figure out what the problem is exactly or if anyone has experienced this before. Below is what I see everytime it happens. If anyone knows or any clue how to eliminate 1 by 1 which is the problem I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

1) Is your video driver up to date?
2) Is there perhaps a beta driver that might address the issue.
3) Is your psu of adequate power for your video card?
4) Is there possibly a heat issue? Is the cooling of the video card and case free of dust.
Try removing the side panel of your case, and direct a house fan at the innards. If the problem goes away, you have a case cooling issue.

1. Ive updated video card
2. Dont think so
3. I have a 600w i believe or 550w and my video cards a 4830 that only needs 400-450 i believe.
4. I cleaned it and still happens, but temps did go down about 7-10c.

Ill try to remove panel and insert a house fan, but my vid card temps reach around 60ish on load - games (is that bad?), I always thought 70s were bad.

Thanks for the help.

Oh yeah is it somehow bad to UNDERclock your card? I mean if that were to lower my temps or keep it safer I dont mind it. I limit my fps to 75 with a config even though i could get 300 anyways.

try compleatly uninstalling your video driver and reinstall the latest from amd....not just update......you can do that from the uninstall a program feature in your control panel....after uninstalling go to amd's website and downlaod latest driver.....11.6 i believe and after downloading just follow install wizards instructions

good luck
