So the only modification I made on this computer about a year ago was adding 2 gigs of ram, totaling 3, and an 8400gs. Cost about 40 bucks total for slight improvement in performance. I'm thinking of buying a Core 2 Quad q6600 processor, and a radeon hd 5670, but i'm wondering if this is possible with a 305W power supply?

I realize ill be spending well over 200 bucks for this upgrade, but will everything be compatible? I upgraded bios and everything, so i know the q6600 should work, but i'm really worried about the power supply.

P.S. Does anyone know where I can buy a q6600 for a reasonable price? Newegg doesn't sell these anymore, and you can find em used for about a 100 on eBay. Would you recommend buying a used processor off eBay?

What motherboard does that model come with. It's probably best if you go onto Dell's website, find your model and look at the CPU support list. For pre-built computers you usually can't overclock and and support list for upgrades is very limited.
