How to find old posts based on their old post number

I have bookmarked a number of my useful old posts (years old, even), but my bookmarks are in the old forumz.tomshardware.com format (e.g. http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=1184072#1184072 ). I've got 8-10 such bookmarks, but of course they don't work in the new forum structure.

How may I find them in the current forum structure? I already tried searching for the page/post number, and that didn't work.

Thanks!

More about find posts based post number
  1. Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to Google the thread name or content if you can remember it. Adding "mondoman" to the search query might help as well. I don't think there's any correlation between the URL for phpBB and MyDiscussions which means it's impossible to work out from that.
