Weird Colored Squares After leaving computer on for long

After either leaving the computer on for hours while i sleep or playing a game for multiple hours on the desktop there will be colored squares randomly around the desktop. I don't know what the issue is. My power supply is the minimum needed for my GTS450.

basically i've looked on google and people have either said power supply is too low or video card is bad any knowledge pertaining to this matter would be nice

It Might be your Ram .Just to be safe try this Application:

If you don't get any errors:
How many hard drives are you using?
more than 3 may be problematic i think

otherwise check your motherboard manufacturer's page and
maybe try BIOS update

Also what brand power supply are you using?

power supply is vspire i know there can be a issue with power supplys not putting out what they say only using 1 hard\ drive will do a memory test now

memory seems to be fine .. this problem only occured after installing my video card and only after a couple of weeks

well i know psu's lose a bit of true power over age, but over a few weeks...
maybe\maybe not
Will have to physically test the wattage output

no i just got the graphics card a few weeks ago but I've had the power supply for awhile no 1-2years or so my old graphics card was a 8400

yes but what i mean is the gts450 may be stressing it and now it's getting "lazy"
if i can put it that way

PS: the program above can also do a PSU test
but it stresses it ALOT

so you think the power supply (cheap i assume) cant supply enough power to my graphics card so my graphics card does somethin that creates errors like those boxes in a nutshell*

It might not get the constant sufficient power it needs ,
did you run the OCCT app ?
Try the GPU test and then the power supply test

is your problem only cropping up in firefox???

at first it was only in fire fox then i noticed it after closing shogun 2 total war +come to think of it i was lookin up stuff on firefox before i closed shogun 2

umm it is solved after unplugging monitor then replugging may just be cord
