Hi friends,

I am looking for components for a friend.

The pc has to be small, quiet and relatively powerful.

I was thinking of something like this:

matx mobo
4-8 gb ram
i7 2600k (no oc)
a GPU with some power but not high end (for example, an 6750)
a quiet cooler that will keep the 2600k cool without noise and without overclock
ssd drive for os and an hdd for data etc
an adequate PSU
and most importantly a small case which will accomodate all these with reasonable air flow. Generally, the smaller the case and the quiter the pc, the better.

Budget is not the most important. Highest priority: small - quiet - powerful

thanks in advance

CPU: i7 2600k
CPU cooler: Scythe Mugen 3 - extremely quiet and keeps the CPU cool
Mobo: Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z
Mem:
2x4GB 1.5V CAS9 1600Mhz kit from Corsair, GSkill, Kingston, Muskin
or possibly a Gskill Sniper 1.25V CAS9 1600Mhz kit - less power -> less heat -> less noise
GPU:
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120GB for OS and apps.
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F4 2TB for data
DVD: Asus/Liteon/Samsung/Sony 24x DVD writer
PSU: Seasonic X-Series 560W
Case:
Silverstone FT03 mATX - although the DVD drive needs to be a Slot in slim drive at that point.
SILVERSTONE Temjin Series TJ08B-E - might require memory with no or very low heat spreaders such at Corsair VengeanceLP series.

Overall the components are more or less ok, the case is a soso.
