well i want 8 GB ram for
GA-Z77MX-D3H
i have selected F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL.

well its not in the compatibility list provided by gigabyte , the list is very small .
well i know other rams will also work on that motherboard ,
but what is criteria ??
i have considered the following parameters ,

1] is it dual memory [ yes F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL is a dual memory and comes as 2 x 4 GB structure ]
2] Voltage : 1.5 [ yes its voltage is 1.5 same as per recommended by GA-z77mx-d3h ]
but what are the other parameters ?
and what if the ram i selected don't work with ga-z77mx-d3h ,
i aint no geek , i am complete noob [ 3 weeks on this forum and i can not even answer simple question ]
so i need serious help .

Almost any pair of 1600MT/s DIMMs will work for dual-channel on almost any SB/IB or AM3/FM2 board.

Where things often get dicey is when attempting to use two DIMMs on a single channel because the CPU may not be able to reliably drive the extra load at high frequencies. This is why the DDR4 spec only allows one DIMM per channel.

If you are worried about RAM not working, buy it from a local shop so you can easily return/exchange it.
