BSOD Newhome built i5 2500k

Hey guys I built a computer with some help from people on here. And I made sure everything was stress tested and the cooling was fine with every thing and no problems. But now that I started to do some computer games such as battle field bad company 2 I get a BSOD after 30min of game play. My settings are on high and here are is the problem code i get after restarting the computer. I did some research on the internet and some people believe its my GPU. I don't know if this is the correct part of the forums to be posting in and I'm sorry if this is not the place. But I hope some one can help me with the problem. I will also list my computer specs as well. My cpu is 28C across the board at idle and 32 in game. the GPU runs at 66-69c around there in game. I up the fan to 50% during that time to see if that would help at all but it I guess not if I still get BSOD. PLEASE HELP ME!

I manually set my ram to the numbers that are listed on the sides of the ram. It was auto set to 11 11 11 25. I set them to the ram listed specs of 9 9 9 24. I don't know if this will help but I will try and go threw the game again and see if it BSOD.

Well It played for 1 hour on the dot and then crashed on me again. I should also note the cpu is not overclocked yet. here is the code again.

Just got a notice while trying to run the game again on low settings... this is a brand new home built computer i build btw. I had a windows notification asking me to lower or up my windows desktop looks for performance I'm starting to think its the memory with all this happening. I could really use some input on this.

Try using each stick of memory seperatly over and over and see if it keeps happening. I highly doubt all of them would be bad. Try running Memtest too and see if you have any luck.

Yep, if you find that one particular stick of RAM is the issue, then you know you have the problem.

I strongly suggest you start from the simple stuff first

1) Push ALL cables and be sure they are connected properly, all cables inside the PC = Sata cables, power cables etc.
2) Check if the gpu fan is working and if it's accelerating when you play games.
3) You are saying you manualy set the fan of the GPU so you wont have issues, so,
after testing with 1 ram module each time,
4) Put another GPU on and see what happens, could be your gpu with bad memory or smth ...

I did what you said about check all my cables and everything seemed fine nothing was loose or anything I double and triple check everything. The only thing I wounder about the sata cables is that I have my hard drive in the sata6 slot I don't think that would be the problem as well as my read and the the front panel sata is on the sata 3 ones. I will check my gpu fan speed as well I have it set so it does it on auto, I don't have a second gpu to test with sadly. I also reseated both my ram. And some people are saying to use memtest could some one link me the down load I was reading that you have to burn it to a cd as well?

8175 total
5183 cached
available 6715
free 1585 <--- free
Would that mean as in the amount i can use on my ram? because i haven't really done anything to the computer besides download battle field bad company 2, cpuz, gpuz, real temps, and mumble. I dunno if I looking at this wrong or what. but I'm currently going to test one stick of ram at a time tomorrow. Any help on the post I have done would also help.

Hmmm thats very weird, I'd say a stick of ram is dead or something. Because i just checked my computer and i have 6 gigs of g.skill 1333mhz memory and it says i have over 3233 MB free.

Yea I just checked again and it says I have 5577 free now I don't understand but w/e I will RMA the ram. Better to be safe then sorry I guess. And I just ran BF2 and it doesn't blue screen but instead just locks up cant do anything and have to hard reboot it. Could the GPU be the cause of this?

I have my doubts, if it was the gpu you would notice it over-heating or something. You could try different drivers just to see. If i was you I would take all the RAM out except one stick in the proper slot. Then try gaming and see if it still happens. Try each stick before you RMA it to see if that is indeed the problem.
