No sound

Hello,
i do not have sound and when go through start, all programs,accessories,entertainment and volume control i get the "there are no active mixer devices available.to install mixer devices, go to control panel, click printers and other hardware,and then click add hardware. this program will now close." please help.

looks like you need to install your sound card driver... what type of computer/motherboard do you have?

I have Windows XP
