ok since i am not getting the help i am looking for lets try asking questions in a different way. i will not be overclocking anything, i live in the us, i am looking up parts on tigerdirect.com. i do gameing and when i play i run 3 to 5 accounts at once along with music and or skype. i allways run 2 screens and watch tv on them at times. one screen is a 27 inch HD samsung and the 2nd is a 22 inch dell flat pannel. i have a ton of music videos and pics on my pc on a 2 TB data drive.
i dont know if i should go with a lga 1366 or a LGA 1155 motherboard (the 2 i selected are below) either way i plan to run a i7 chip. i would like to know what is better and also what board is better and if both suck i would love some examples also a little description of why they suck if that is ur opinion so i know what to look for in the future. i know the i5 seems to be the popular choice but dont mind spending the extra money to have a pc that will be more than i need i actually prefer it that way
Intel BOXDX58SO2 Socket LGA1366 Motherboard - ATX, Socket B (LGA1366), Intel X58 Express, 1600MHz DDR3, SATA 6.0 Gb/s, RAID, Dual Gigabit LAN, SLI/CrossFireX Ready, USB 3.0
question 2 the ram i chose is it better to have less ram with a faster speed or more ram with less speed example: 8gb at 1866 or 16 at 1600 MHz
and final question is the following video card i plan to have 1 but in the future to add a 2nd i had Nvidia in my current pc and it died very mad cause it was just out of the 3 year warantee so i am planning on going with ATI
ATI 100-505519 FireGL V8600 Video Card - 1GB GDDR4, PCI Express 2.0 x16, Dual DVI, OEM
1155 socket since 1366 is a dead end!
Selected GPU is not a gaming GPU but a professional card, HD6950/70 would be something to look at there.
Ram speed does not have a decisive performance increase on a system but lack of ram can bog it down.
