8GB DDR3 SDRAM NON-ECC

I am specing a high-end PC (who isn't), and I am looking for 8GB NON-ECC SDRAM 240 DIMM sticks for my Asus Maximus IV Extreme, but no matter where I search on the web all I have found are ECC.

Does anyone know where I can find what I need.

Thanks.

  1. 8GB sticks are expensive and hard to find, newegg only stocks 3 kits with 8GB sticks in them.

Your better option would be to get some 4GB sticks, they are significantly cheaper and will still give you more than enough RAM for any app you want to run.
  2. I think you're right...aty these prices I'll just get4x4GB for now and then upgrade when the market gets more 8GB stick producers and prices drop.

    Thanks for the websites though,
