Can I safely OC my card?

Hello, I was wondering if I could safely OC my XFX 68701gb and what settings would be optimal. Currently, everything is stock and when stressing the card in Metro 2033 it only climbs to about 71c and stays there. Idle temp is 39c-41c. Thanks in advance.

There is always the risk of ruining a card by OC'ing, it might be a small risk but it's there nonetheless.

There is always a risk of ruining anything you OC - but as long as you keep it moderate and watch the temps etc. then the risk is relatively low but it is always there !! - and as far as what settings would be optimal it varies with each card since each individual chip that makes up the card will vary slightly from every other chip used to make other cards - so you would have to run tests to figure that out for your specific card.

Keep temps under 80c and keep voltage under 10% over stock and you should be good to go
