Problem with shift 2

my system spec are
windows 7 64-bit ultimate
intel core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GH.z
Psu 400w
ati radeon HD4600 series

hi
if i play shift 2 then some times if i race its a little lagging
and if i play quake race without enemy racers then i has no problems
so i want to ask you whay its sometimes lagging
plzz help me and sorry for my bad english

the problem is away it was becaus i has stop all background aplications
but i want to esc you now is it normely if my processor temperatuur is above the 50?
