Gaming PC. Noob check before i buy my parts this week.

I will be building my first gaming PC this week and I wanted to know if these parts are compatible and if they would allow me to plays games at High Settings and view/listen to HD content. I'm new to PC building so any advice would help.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week

Budget Range: Around $1300

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming(Battlefield 3,Batman and Diablo 3), internet, watching/streaming HD Movies and listening to music.

Parts Not Required: OS, keyboard, mouse and monitor

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: High Quality reliable components

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

What do you guys think? Is a SSD worth it now or should I wait and upgrade my CPU or GPU?

Solid build. You obviously did a lot of research.

If I had to nit-pick, the only thing I can fault is the case. But only because I find it too funky. I prefer something plainer, like the new Corsair 400 or 500r. But this is only personal preference.

Another this is to add a CPU cooler so you can overclock that cpu. A coolermaster hyper 212+ should suffice without breaking the bank.

Switch out that psu for an 850w psu so you have the option to add another one of those cards later on in SLI

Look at the XFX 850w or Corsair 850w psu's.

Also look at the Corsair 500R white edition for front fans...better cooling/ventilation. It combo's with the Asus dvd/cd writer.
