hello guys! once again im asking ur help coz i cant find my answers in the
web.

i was before using an athlon ii x2 250 and it was great! but 1 day ifound or met a person
selling me his quad core phenom 9550, should i buy and use that?

is it better for gaming guys?

don't bother, its not much of an upgrade in gaming. tho it might be better in multitasking with the 4 cores.

imo, stick with the athlon ii - take chance with core unlocking and overclocking (get a good cpu cooler for that).

ive alredy oc the athlon to as high as 4.1ghz but its only 2 cores.in games it takes longer to load a game cos of the 2 cores.
i thought maybe a quadcre and oc it to max can make it faster with BF3 and new other games

and regor atlons cannot be unlocked cos they are native 2 cores

stick with your athlon
loading time depends on harddisk drive speed and not much on cpu
9550 can perform better then 250 (stock) in multithreaded apps, but since you have overclocked it then it can beat 9550 in majority of games and apps
