So I am building my own computer for the first time and I'm not sure about the parts I am going to use. If you think there is something wrong with the parts or I can get something that's better please say.

Here is the parts:

computer case - Zalman Z9 plus

graphics card -ASUS EAH5450/DI/1GD3 Radeon HD 5450

Power supply - JEANTECH 400W ATX Power Supply Unit

Hard drive - Seagate OEM 500GB Barracuda 3.5 inch 7200.12
Internal Hard Disk Drive

optical drive (disk drive) - Samsung SH-203B

CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1100T

Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M USB3 HDMI

RAM: 8GB set

I will be using the computer for games and i am also on a fairly low budget.

if you are on a low budget, drop to 4GB.
higher clocked quad core, not the hex core - better for gaming
lose the jeantech psu, quality seasonic 500W, or other good quality psu
the 5450 is very poor for gaming, try to get to 5850 at least.

What resolution, what budget, what country

Make sure you get 2x2GB or 2x4GB of RAM, it's meant to work in pairs. When you assemble it, your motherboard manual will tell you what slots to use.

+1 on the PSU and GPU. Always, always, always get a decent PSU (says me, who's used generic in the past! But it's important. Try and get one that's 80+ certified, it's more efficient).

"...i am also on a fairly low budget."

Define fairly low budget.

I think AMD would be better for a cheapo build.
