How do i change my DISPLAY from a majorly white background with Slim dark boarde

Hello,
My hp 4520s laptop display is showing white on every page or window i open and there are many clear thin dark border lines around the various items displayed on a page.Every other thing like pictures and words are clear,and are written in Black,Blue or Purple or violet.I believe i may have changed the settings but i have spent 5hours sofar and i cant find the place.Please help me.

Looks like u have accidentally changed ur window theme. If you are using Win 7, then right click on the empty space of ur desktop and choose "personalize" and set it back to default theme.
