Cleaning graphic cards with gas

Hello,

I got a can that says its for computer cleanign, but this is not air as I hoped for, but Botan Profan gas. Is it Ok to clean the graphics cards with this ?

I don't know - but before you try you might want to turn on your video cam and record. And I hope that is propane and not profane gas. The latter sounds real dangerous, course the former could be too.

maybe butan propan?

Sorry, I was translating from a different language. Yes, it is (I guess...) Butan Propan.

To the best of my knowledge, butane propane gas is used primarily if not only for burning in stoves and is highly flammable. I would never use it to clean graphics cards but would get canned air instead.

Since I had to clean the graphic card, I can tell you that so far things are working well (for 3 days, that is).

Well, I don't think it's the best thing to clean electronics with, but it's certainly not the worst thing to pick. Isopropanol isn't that much different than propane, but I still would just go to the store and get compressed air next time and maybe some rubbing alcohol (isopropanol/isopropyl alcohol).
