well you cant OC with your mb so dont pay extra for the overclocking cpu. The 2500 is the part you want

You also need 1.5 volt RAM so the sticks you have chosen should be off the menu even if they are cheap .

Or even i5 2400, depending a little bit on the prices. Currently the sale at newegg makes i5 2500 better choice, but if the difference is $5-10 it's ok to go higher anything more, stick to the i5 2400.

I would get PC power and cooling Silencer Mark II 650W which is still on sale until the 28th. $69.99 ( with CC before $20 MIR )

And Antec 300 Illusion for case on sale until the 28th. $44.99 ( with CC )

Should work ok for memory, it is 1.5V.

Also if you still have money left. Change the HDD to Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB $59.99
Faster and more reliable.

So the "supports Intel k- series unlocked CPU" doesn't mean squat is what you're saying? What would be a good motherboard for the 2500k then?
