Memory Upgrade Advice

Hey guys as you can see i'm running 4GB's of RAM at the moment. Now im planning in doubling that (and getting a new HD7950) for Far Cry 3.

My question is, can i add another 4GB of similar RAM (the RAM i am using is unavailable) or do i have to scrap what I have and buy 8GB new RAM and if so, any reccomendations.

Current Specs

CPU: Phenom II X4 965 BE
MoBo: Asus M4A79XTD EVO
GPU: Saphire HD 5870
Memory: Xms DDR3 2x2GB 1600 cl7 Corsair RAM
PSU: 750w Corsair XT
Windows 7, 64bit

Mis-Matched Ram is possible, but just go with a new 8GB kit. If you go mismatched with similar RAM, it might work but it won't be in dual-channel mode and you will take a huge performance hit, and you'll have a lot of problems.

For the price that RAM is now just get a new 8GB set

Ok thanks, also when i was building this pc i was advised to buy cl7 RAM as that was what was needed.

What exactly is the difference between cl7/8/9 and do i need cl7?
