If you remember the good old days of SIMMs, you should understand. RIMMs require two identicle modules, and also require any/all banks to be occupied. The two real modules are IDENTICLE! Two 64Mb RIMMs at same speed and same manufacturer. Remember the good old days, Socket 7, 72pin EDO-Ram, Pentium & MMX.
