Nvidia geforce 310m dosent play games smoothly

i have a nvidia geforce 310m and an intel core i5 CPU but i still have problems running games smoothly (ex. minecraft and WOW). when i went on canurunit.com it said that my grafics card dosent have 3D. is there a simple fix or do i need to buy something new? It is a Toshiba Satellite M645 laptop and i havent done any tweaking to it at all.

Stick with low to medium setting and/or see if optimus is running. Sometimes optimus doesn't automatically switch you to the 310M.
