New build, 1500 range, Take a look!

Budget Range: 1500 +- 100 or so, if the upgrades are worth it

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Starwars Mmo, BF3

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, Ill add a 580 after a few years, Is it worth it to do with the current Mobo being x16 or x8/x8

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200 I run 1 27.5" monitor and a second 24". Only the 27 is used for gaming.

Questions. Do I need a SSD boot drive? Will it impact gaming at all and do you guys think it is worth it?

Current total is right around $1450. If there are any upgrades that will really help performance and will keep the price sup 1600 range, Please let me know. Otherwise, does everything look good? Am I missing anything? Thank you very much for your help! =)

@ the OP. That 750w doesn't even come close to pushing two of those cards in SLI, and it's over kill for a single 580. Also you can get by on a cheaper case that has just as good cooling. Look at some of the Corsair mid towers.

Alright, Thank you guys, I am going to add the SSD and probably Lower the PSU and forget about SLI. Everything else looks Good though?

its ok but you can make some improvements.-

i5 2500k- 220$

Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3- 125$ a z68 board for less. why not?

Gskill 8gb 1600mhz Sniper- 50$

Pc power and cooling 950w psu- 150$ this can easily run 2 580's

Samsung Spinpoint F3 1tb- 60$ this is actually faster than the wd hdd

Silverstone Raven RV03- 140$ it actually cools better than the HAF X thanks to its unique design- you only need high fans on at full load

Asus DVD Burner- 20$

Crucail M4 128gb- 197$

MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II- 475$ great deal to say the least. get this asap.
