Hello,

My brother has purchased a new computer and is giving me his old one which includes two radeon hd 5700s in crossfire. I currently have an hd 6600 in my current computer. Should I use the duel 5700s or my 6600. Is it possible to use one of each in crossfire? How about all three? I don't know much about crossfire.

you can't crossfire HD 5K series with HD 6K series and you better run 5700s in CF enjoying the crossfire scaling and better performance
BTW, what is the 6600 ?

2 5700s in crossfire would perform better than the hd6670

So I should use the 2 5700s until I can get an extra 6670. Will any card in a series do or does it have to be the exact same card?

Any brand will work, but it's best to match them. I prefer my Sapphire :)

like jonnyrb said, any brand will work, and you can crossfire HD 5750 with HD 5770 for example but better to match them
