Hello everyone! I'm planning to build a new PC soon and I have all the parts selected but I'm still on the fence about the power supply. I'm just wondering if the output of the PSU I've selected is enough for my build. If I can get by on this PSU that would be awesome, but I want my system to be stable so I am more than willing to upgrade if absolutely necessary. I do not plan to do any overclocking.

The build is very basic, because all I really do is play WoW, TF2, Minecraft, and do my work for school and my job.

Here is the build: https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.as...

If that link doesn't work for some reason:

POWER SUPPLY - Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V

CASE - COOLER MASTER ELITE 335 RC-335-KKN1-GP Black

MOBO - GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2P AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz

VIDEO CARD - SAPPHIRE 100328L Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5

RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

HARD DRIVE - Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0G

DVD-RW - ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

That PSU is plenty and some for your build! You probably could run 2 xHD6770 in CF on that PSU if your board supported it.

Wow really? That's pretty awesome. I don't actually ever plan on using 2 video cards (for what I do it'd probably be a waste lol), but I do plan on adding an additional hard drive at a later time for mass storage so that's good to know. Thank you very much!

I realize that you weren't asking for recommendations ion the MOBO but, IMO you're really selling yourself short with that motherboard. You can't even run that memory at full speed without OC'ing. I'd go with something more like one of these:

ASUS M5A78L-M LX AM3+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ASRock 760GM-GS3 AM3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ASRock 880GM-LE AM3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ASUS M4A78LT-M LE AM3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
