I have purcahsed a PDA. I have no clue how wifi works. Can anyone take the time to tell me the basics and if I would need any special equipment...such as wireless router and card (I don't have one yet)? Also, if so...what should I purchase.

Well perhaps (just thinking aloud here) you should tell us what you'd like to do with it and where. That will determine what you need to do. What you'll need to buy. Oh, is it safe to assume your PDA does not have integrated wireless?
