computer doesn't start up. When switching on, fan runs about 3-4 secs. LEDs on front of case don't lite. Where do I start? Please keep it simple as I'm just learning.
Thanks for any help.

Make sure the case power switch is good and correctly connected to the motherboard. With some ATX motherboards, the power supply switch will do what you describe (powering up the fans for a second). With all ATX MB's(or at least most) the case switch (attached to two small pins on the mb with the rest of the connectors for lights, etc.) must be switches before the computer will really "turn on". (Remember that switches do go bad, so try switching the power and reset switch connectors on the Motherboard for a test)
