RAM question (need quick answer)

I've just got a bluescreen after removing my ram and putting it back in.
I think I accidentally destroyed the ram.

So I'm wondering:

I had these in my pc:

Are these going to work?:

I think they should as they are pretty much the same spec wise
but I don't know alot about this stuff and I don't want to screw it up.

And when is it safe to remove or install ram?
I plugged everything out and then without waiting removed the ram.
I gues I had to wait a bit before removing it.

Some help would be appreciated!

More about question need quick answer
  1. one thing for sure if the ram is damaged the pc wont load at all
if there is blue screen with error code search that error
  2. Did you loose anything during removing ram? New ram will work and be careful next time you install ram and power off every thing.
