I have currently:
Mobo: NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 OC'd @ 3.0GHz (LGA 775)
RAM: G.Skill DDR2 800 4x1GB
GPU: EVGA 480GTX
HDD: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair 850w
Lately with some new games I feel my CPU is feeling the pressure. Is it time for me to upgrade, or should I wait?
Now I've done some looking around, and can't figure out really what to get. I believe if I was to upgrade my CPU, I'd need a new Mobo and some RAM.
The question in my mind is whether to go with AMD or Intel. Now I know that can be a "fanboy" topic, but I'd take a suggestion from both and compare it myself. I have a budget overall of about $500 (for Mobo/CPU), give or take.
Any suggestions?
