I have currently: Mobo: NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 OC'd @ 3.0GHz (LGA 775) RAM: G.Skill DDR2 800 4x1GB GPU: EVGA 480GTX HDD: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM PSU: Corsair 850w
Lately with some new games I feel my CPU is feeling the pressure. Is it time for me to upgrade, or should I wait? Now I've done some looking around, and can't figure out really what to get. I believe if I was to upgrade my CPU, I'd need a new Mobo and some RAM.
The question in my mind is whether to go with AMD or Intel. Now I know that can be a "fanboy" topic, but I'd take a suggestion from both and compare it myself. I have a budget overall of about $500 (for Mobo/CPU), give or take.

get a i5-2500k and a good Mobo for OC and you will have the undisputed best CPU for gaming you can get for the price.
Ocz isn't the best company to deal with, but my agility 3 runs fine in achi mode. Adjust the bios to achi before installing windows. Mailing in the rebate may void the warranty, but I did it anyway. Use the serial number sticker on the back of the drive, not the one on the package.
