Hi everyone.

I'd like to clean out, for lack of a better term, the OPEN WITH
context menu listings, for certain file extensions.

More importantly, if it is possible, I'd like to "lock" them, to
prevent programs from being listed there.

Let me elaborate:

For the HTM extension, the following programs are listed in the Open
With ---> context menu:

Internet Explorer
Microsoft Office Front Page
Notepad
Microsoft Office Word
Microsoft Office Excel
Microsoft Office Publisher
WordPad

I found a freeware utility that is supposed to clean out these
listings, but it did not work. I'm willing to edit the registry
manually, if need be. I need to be told what to edit, please.

More importantly: Let's say I want only Front Page and Notepad in
this context menu area, and nothing else--EVER. Is that possible? Is
it possible to prevent other programs from being placed in this
context menu region?

Thank you very much!
