Hi guys,

Very soon I will be buying a new monitor, specifically this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=24-262-011&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=100&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=1#scrollFullInfo

Right now my Graphics card is a Nvidia GTS 250 1GB. Most of the time I play Bad Company 2 in 1280x1024.

I dont plan on buying a new video card for about 3 months. By then I will buy a Radeon HD6870.

In the mean time, can I expect switching to such a high resolution to render my games unplayable?

I have a Phenom ii X4 945 BE, 8GB of DDR3-1333 RAM, and a GTS 250 1GB.
