Has anyone gotten a repetitive static 'tick' from this card while viewing DVDs ? Frequency is low (~ every half second) The other output modes seem fine. I have used a Creative Labs DVD video inlay card CT7160 that produces excellent SPDIF output (separate sound card.. TB MontegoXtreme), but wanted to use software decoding (no problem) and get a sound card that has SPDIF, so I would have one less card.

Other issue is that the DVD inlay card fails to sync with the AGP when overclocked, presumably because it expects 33MHz PCI/66MHz AGP ratio. That means I have to underclock back to standard settings to use the inlay card to get SPDIF output while watching DVDs. I can live with this, but the Montego doesn't have environmental audio EAX.
