Hi all,
As the thread title states, some of the USB 3.0 ports on my newly-built computer will not work with anything other than a mouse or a keyboard. Bluetooth headset, USB flash drive etc. will not show up in windows when plugged into these ports. The ports will charge and power all devices. EDIT: I should add that these ports are at the back, and are part of the motherboard; they are not front ports attached via a cable.
Solutions I've tried:
- Making sure USB 3.0 is enabled in the BIOS
- Flashing BIOS to latest version
- Installing the newest Intel USB 3.0 drivers in windows
My specs:
Processor: Intel i7-3770K
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V PRO
Memory: Patriot 8GB Viper 3 1600MHz (2x4Gb) RAM
SSD: Corsair Force Series GT 120GB SATA III
HDD: WD 1TB 7200RPM 64MB cache
Graphics: eVGA Geforce GTX660Ti+ 3GB GDDR5
PSU: Corsair TX550M Modular
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit OEM
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
