Can the NZXT vulcan accomodate ASUS M5A97-PRO with Radeon HD6950 2GB?

It takes video cards up to 350mm in length, so it will fit the 6950 no problem. As for the MB, that will definitely NOT fit as the case is only for M-ATX motherboards.

but it doesnt say it support ATX boards, just M-ATX. does it have any significance?

I don't believe the motherboard you listed will fit inside the case since the Vulcan was designed specifically for micro-ATX boards and the ASUS M5A97-PRO is a standard ATX board.

I made a mistake. The MB will definitely not fit. It's too big for that case.

Pick any mid to full tower case with clearance for the 6950. In terms of appearance that would be for you to decide. What's your planned budget for a case by-the-way?
