All, hope someone can help!

I am having some problems connecting my T630 to my home and work PCs.

I have connected up fine at home (WinXP SP2 with the MS Stack) and all
is working fine. The PC registers ok on the handset as NEO which is
the BT name I gave it.

When I come to connect it to my work PC (Win 2000 SP4 with the Jon's
Guide installation of BT) it connects up OK but registers the PC as
NEO as well, not ARCHITECT which is what I have set up the BT name as.

If I connect to the Win2K machine it overwrites the NEO device as the
Win2K machine and when I get home I have to delete the device and
re-pair with NEO to get it to work.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to pair the phone with 2
different PCs?

TIA

Think I may have just figured it! I am using the same BT dongle for
both PCs - so I guess it has the same device address irrelevant of
which PC it is connected to. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case, I guess I will have to re-pair it for each
machine....

Hmm or maybe buy another dongle....

Yes. This was the important bit that wasn't on the first post. The address
is the same, but the pairing information is different. The pairing
information is not only based on address and key, but also other factors to
make it unique. If you use the same dongle in two computers, devices will
get a little crazy :)
