Well I am going to be purchasing a new PC soon, and I was wondering if the Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H (http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?p...) is compatible with G.SKILL RipjawsX F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM (4GBx2). I ask because in the specs section of the RAM's page, it says it works with the Intel Z77 Chipset, but the exact motherboard model isn't listed in the qualified motherboards list. I ask because I found this RAM and it costs about half as much as the Corsair Vengeance 8GB kit i was going to buy.

EDIT: Looked through other threads and found the answer, sorry for stupid question.

I use ripjawsX, and it works great on my asus h61 board; you shouldn't have any problems running it on a z77 board; all board manufacturer's only test a sampling of the available ram; just because it's not on their approved list doesn't mean it won't work.
