I just got a new desktop and I have WiFi internet but when I tried to connect to it, it said there was no networks available. So apparently this computer doesn't have a wireless network card. I know nothing about these at all. Are they hard to install? And could someone recommend one to me? Please help me, I'm so lost!

Not really hard. You can buy an internal WiFi Nic... Just install it like any usual card and follow the instructions that come with it. Personally, I have a USB Wireless adapter by Netgear. All I had to do is install the drivers, reboot my PC, and insert the adapter into a USB port. So I don't think they're difficult to setup.

erm, just checking, did the brochure for the pc you bought say anything about wireless? does it have an antenna on the back? (or something that looks like an aerial port - might want to recheck the box of bits)

are you right clicking a wireless icon in the system tray / network connections folder?

can you connect to your wireless internet with any other machine?
