Graphics card and graphics adaptor the same thing?

hey i found this card online, it says

what does that mean? its selling for about 75 quid!

thats what it says...

so im guessing its the actual card but what does it mean if it says graphics adaptor instead of graphics card?

A graphics card IS a graphics adapter, but a graphics adapter doesn't have to be a card. A graphics adapter can be integrated into a motherboard, or maybe even a usb adapter.
