Hello,id greatly appriciate help on the subject as to upgrading my current CPU my MB is a M2N68-LA "narra5" currently running a athlon II 170u processor. ive heard that this board will support AM2+ chips as well as AM3 being compatable. the CPU im looking to put in,is a AMD Athlon II X4 645 Processor (ADX645WFGMBOX)
will my MB be able to run this chip,or will i have to upgrade the bios as well? please bare with me as im also a newcomer to hardware upgrades. my computer model "if it helps specs" is a CQ5600Y is all stock and has a ATX 250watt PSU. furthermore would i need to upgrade the PSU as well to run the Atlon II X4,i also plan on upgrading two 4Gb* ram. i belive it only supports DIMM DDR2 880Mhz sticks. allthough im on a Win 7 X64 OS. any and every piece of help is greatly appricated,once again!

so do you suppose this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103995 AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core processor would be a better choice? some people have been saying that the mb bios wont support newer cpu's. so im really stuck at this point on what to do
