New Computer but monitor won't turn on.

Hi guys,

So I just got my new PC but when I turned on my new Samsung monitor it just switches between three screens (Digital, Analog and HDMI). I'm a little confused as to what I should do? I've only connected an DVI cable from my screen to the computer.

The computer seems to be booting, as all the fans are running. But there's a red light, which I'm not sure if it is normal.
