Intel processors ... booooo! :kaola:

What about the AMD Phenom II X4 965 is it that concerns you? I selected the Radeon HD 6950 graphics card for the express purpose of driving those three monitors.

Do you have any benchmarks to back up your statement?

That review is only a comparison against other CPUs. How is not top performer a bottleneck? A bottleneck is only a bottleneck if it's holding up the rest of the system. Exactly what part(s) of the system would the processor I selected be holding up? The processor kind of drives things, so it's hard to imagine that the processor would be holding things up. If what you mean is that the graphics card would be waiting on more data from the CPU, that is the preferable situation because it means that the CPU is busy doing what it needs to do (i.e. user/OS related tasks) and the graphics card is free to process more data as it becomes available.

That benchmark shows nothing about CPU's and eyefinity, therefore it is worthless

Let me put it this way then. The AMD cpu is going to give you less FPS in regards to gaming. The AMD cpu's atm are far inferior to the Intel cpu's out there atm. And like I already posted...if you plan on o/c your cpu then it gets even worse for the AMD's compared to the Intel's seeing how the Intel cpu's mop the floor with the AMD's in regards to o/c and just about everything else.

Google some benchmarks or check it out here on toms.

Are you saying, considering cost, the new processor that I picked is better/good?
